Altered the math of penetration in Equigon Breeding Center(again) to make it easier for the stallion to interact with female anatomy when female anatomy is present. These changes should make it easier to guide the horse into interacting with female friend parts in VR. In testing it now works significantly more reliably.
Made further refinements of VR controls. Feels a little bit better than previous version. Still pisses me off that the generic index driver doesn’t give me the physical click point on the remote like I can get from the Vive remotes. Its “100%” position is just before the click and then additional values are thrown out.
Removed a number of debug functions that I failed to remove for release. Oops. Removing these also improves performance.
Kneeling interactions felt backwards to me on default. I continue to think this but instead of changing it I’d like to remind you that in the settings you can invert the Besti toy/manual VR control options for any position. Inverting the kneeling interactions made it feel correct in my head.
Besti Toy calibration can now be invoked with the trigger in addition to the stick click. The process can now be (optionally) Grip –> Trigger at position 1 –> Trigger at position 2. This should make it easier for folks with remotes with Valve Index remotes which work poorly in Besti 9. This works on all controller types.
Grip also has an alternative assignment of the A button on valve index remotes. I don’t like the grip function on the index so you can now press A to grip in addition to using the grip buttons. It’s important to note that I do not/nor can I patch in the level of control I have with Valve index controllers in newer versions of Besti. Besti 9 predates the Index controller and the driver specific to that controller was made in such a way that it is incompatible with other systems I’m using in Besti 9, so I’m sort of emulating a generic controller in Besti 9 rather than specifically addressing the index remote. I’m doing my best with it.
