Question: I don’t have a key or my key is invalid. How do I get one?
Answer: Keys are distributed on Gumroad and Subscribestar on the first Monday of every month for all supporters that help with US $1 or more. On Subscribestar, this is in a post and on the Discord server. On Gumroad, it’s in your email as well as the “Library” section when you log in.
Question: I can’t access the Experimental or Pre-Release builds and want to! How do I do that?
Answer: These require a “Producer” key which is given to folks on the first Monday of the month who are supporting the project with US $20 or more. If you want to get that key, vote on future updates, participate early in contests, and unlock extra features inside of Besti, please support the project at that level! <3
Question: Everything downloads OK but it’s not working! What do I do?
Answer: While there could be something else going on and you may need to write Skunkfrakker for help, try to reinstall Besti with your virus scanner disabled. The launcher downloads files into whatever directory you have the launcher in, and that’s interpreted by most virus scanners as naughty behavior. If you’ve tried that, write Skunkfrakker and he’ll get back to you the following Monday.
